Eddie Vedder’s Cubs Tribute Available on PearlJam.com
If you missed the news last week, Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder penned a Cubs
tribute song. Although it’s not likely to replace “Go Cubs Go” anytime
soon, it is a rousing song in its own right. The lyrics in part include:
“We are not fair-weather, but foul-weather fans.
Like brothers in arms, in the streets and the stands…
Someday we’ll go all the way.”
“All the Way” is available as an exclusive digital download for 99 cents from pearljam.com.
While they may also release it as a physical CD single or vinyl record
at some point, you’ll need to download it now in order to get it in
time for the playoffs.
